Fresnel and PC fixtures produce a soft-edged, adjustable beam through spot and flood settings, making them a mainstay for film, television and stage lighting. This range spans tungsten units from 150 W Studio Junior fixtures up to 5 kW Arri and Strand models, HMI-based sources such as the Strand Supernova, and LED alternatives from Elation and De Sisti offering RGBMA colour mixing. Many units are pole operated for quick focus adjustment from the ground, with black housings suited to studio and stage environments.
These fixtures serve applications from broadcast studio setups to theatre rigs and film sets, wherever even, controllable illumination without sharp shadows is required. Options include fixed-beam and zoom variants across manufacturers including Arri, Strand, Robert Juliat and Selecon, allowing selection based on wattage, beam angle, colour temperature and power connection to match the lighting design of a given production.
