The MQ100 Expert is the original ChamSys console featuring the familiar and flexible GUI lighting control, media server connectivity options and in-built Pixelmapping for LED. Congo® jr Master Playback Wing

For those times when you need quick access to channel faders or multiple cue lists, the Congo jr Master Playback Wing is just the thing. With its 40 faders and master keys, the Master Playback Wing provides physical access to Master Playbacks, including the LCD displays for labeling and all master, flash and paging keys. Additionally, the Wing can be switched into Direct Select Mode, providing access to the 40 direct selects. It also features the Channels-Only/Masters/Jam switch, giving you all the flexibility of the Congo console in a significantly smaller footprint.

The Master Playback Wing is a modular accessory for Congo and Congo jr lighting control consoles. It may be used as a stand-alone wing connected to either console with a provided USB cable, or when using Congo jr it may be physically connected to either side of the desk. An external power supply, provided, is required when used stand-alone.

The Master Playback Wing is ideal for broadcast and studio applications where quick manual lighting is required; and school and worship venues where less technically skilled staff need to be able to easily change lighting without keystroke-command knowledge. It’s also recommended for use whenever Congo jr is serving as backup console to a Congo, and fader access is paramount. Modularity allows the user to employ the Wing during show setup or programming and then remove it conveniently when it is no longer required for playback.

Stand alone FX

The DMXStreamer is the most valuable DMX512 tool you will find. This product records any DMX512 stream for up to 20 hours. You simply play your lighting sequence and record it with the DMXStreamer. You can then play it back when you need it, or automaticaly based on time of day with the inbuilt real time clock.

This unit is great for any architectural work thanks to the inbuilt clock and scheduling features or simply backing up a lighting control system in case problems occur. The automatic backup will start a predefined show if there is loss of DMX signal.

QDMuX - 24 Channel DMX to 0-10V dc analogue demultiplexer

The QDMuX provides a remarkably-priced 24 channels of DMX to analogue decoding in a one unit rack-mount exterior. It is also a convenient interface between standards, the DMX line being connected through 5-pin XLR's to the front or 3-pin XLR's to the rear. Analogue outputs are in six channel groups on the front face and four channel on the rear.

The front panel alpha-numeric display shows the DMX start address, which may be set anywhere in the data chain, plus the current status of the programming options. In the event that a DMX line failure is detected you can opt for a total blackout, to hold the last input or to recall a previously stored scene.

Using the display in conjunction with the 24 output monitor LED's you can quickly verify whether a signal is being received and at what address.

PDS-750 TR is a power / data supply designed for LED-based entertainment and event lighting installations featuring ColorBlast® TR or iW® Blast TR fixtures.

A DMX decode card is available as an option on both
Megastar and Deathstar strobes. This will provide a pulse
to fire the strobe when the 50% (MSB) DMX level is
detected, and so a chase will need to be programmed
on the controller to set the flash rate of the strobe. If the
dual edge trigger switch is in position ‘D’ then the strobe
will flash at twice the rate set on the sequence.
DMX in/through is via one male and one female 5 pin
XLR socket fitted to the rear of the strobe (see
photograph). There is a 10 way DIL switch for address
setting and single (S) / dual (D) edge trigger selection
(see above).
The sum of selected switches equal start address. The
card actually decodes two channels so the second
channel has been routed to the middle contact of the
stereo jack sockets marked ‘Flip-Flash output’, and may
be used to trigger a non DMX strobe from a DMX
controller.
